All over the world, historic things evolve throughout the period we live. Many historic things have been discovering across the world. In this article, we are going to see the 5 oldest historical things in the world.

  1. SCORPION 1’S TOMB HIEROGLYPHS :


The small collections of small vessels, clay made pottery, the pieces of bones, ivory tags, and their impressions were found in the Umm el Qu’ab necropolis, Abydos, Egypt. This relic thing observed is known to be the earliest known Egyptian writing.


This collection was recorded in the period of 3400-3200 BCE. This is the known oldest history recorded in the world.


Scorpion 1 is one of the first rulers of Egypt, his remains are believed to found in tomb U-J. The bone pieces and the ivory found were used as labels and these things provide us the information of the exchange of goods like food products as wheat and the fabric.

  1. HIEROGLYPHIC BILLBOARD:


The archeologist, recently in 2017 discovered a billboard ’ of hieroglyphs on some stones and big rocks near the village of El-Khawy in Egypt. This is recorded as some of the oldest and the largest ever found hieroglyphics and recorded in the very early era of the Egyptian civilization.


Also, the archeologist found some of the oldest cravings of elephant, maybe curved during the period of 4000-3500 BCE. But the hieroglyphic signs found are not that much old as the elephant curving, it may be recorded as in made in the period during 3200 BCE.


The archeologist called this hieroglyphic signs as the billboard because they believe that this cluster of signs makes a sentence or a statement. This hieroglyphic sings range about 70 centimeters ( 27.5 inches ) and relate contrast with the surrounding brown rocks.

  1. NARMER PALETTE:


The Narmer Palette is known to be the rarest and the most valuable  Egyptian relic. This palette is the most elegant relic and recorded in the era of 3200-3000 BCE. James Quibell and Fredrick green found the first palette among the ceremonial craft in the temple of Horus in Nekhen ( also known as the Hierakonpolis ).


The archeologist says that the Narmer palette refers to the details of NARMER, the first dynasty of earlier Egyptian civilization.

The archeologist, in 2016 found a 5000 years old Sumerian cuneiform tablet from the ancient city of Uruk ( now called Iraq ), and it was a payslip. Payslip means the note given to the employee of their salary bill or the amount paid. An interesting thing that has been revealed in this payslip is that the daily wagers were also treated will beer instead of payment.


The archeologist says that the tablet has the cuneiform symbols as like vessels that represent the beer bottles. The other designs on the tablet reveal the details about how much amount of beer as been paid to the wagers. Paying beer for the daily wagers not only practiced in Sumerians, but the Egyptians also used this way to pay the workers working on the pyramid constructions.

  1. KESH TEMPLE HYMN:


The kesh temple hymn is known as the Sumerian god ENLIL, he is who ruled all over other gods. The word hymn reveals the detail of the temple of kesh, once upon the time, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Nintu or Ninhursag, one of the greatest goddess worshipped in ancient Sumer.


The kesh temple hymn is called as one of the oldest pieces of literature still surviving in this world. The ancient temple of kesh was found at the temple library of Nippur in modern-day Iraq. This has been recorded over 2550-2520 BCE. The found piece of kesh temple hymn is incomplete and other pieces of that have been found in the other tablets. The kesh temple of the hymn is now translated, so it still survives in this world as the oldest literature.
