HISTORY ORIGIN:

         The word history is originated from the Ancient Greek word HISTORIA meaning ‘inquiry’ ‘knowledge of inquiry’ ( Knowledge acquired by investigation)  or ‘judge’. Later on the period, the word Historia was changed as HISTORY according to the English language. As for the first time the word history was used by the scientist ARISTOTLE in his book ‘HISTORY OF ANIMALS’.

FATHER OF HISTORY:

         HERODOTUS is known as the father of history. He as considered as the father of history because he was the first historian to collect, gather information, and systematically created a document of his information.  He spends his whole life in his one project : an account of the origin and execution of Greco-Persian wars(499-479 BC). He compiled these accounts into a single major document as ‘The histories’.

TYPES OF HISTORY:

       MONUMENTAL HISTORY:  It is the type of history that uses past things to inspire us to do great things. The popular person in our history is being a great inspiration to the people across the world. American revolution, the constitutional convention for instance are the example of monumental history.

      ANTIQUARIAN HISTORY: Antiquarian is a Latin word meaning pertaining to ancient times.  This is the type of history for those who admire the past ancient culture or the style of past living people and they wish to preserve the recorded document for the future generation of people.

      CRITICAL HISTORY: This type of history is based on the writings, history of art, literature, or architecture. All this information is based on the critical analysis, evaluation details, and composition.

BRANCHES OF HISTORY:

      There are totally 6 branches in history.

       POLITICAL HISTORY: political history says about the political events that happened in ancient days. It narrates and surveys the political events, ideas, movements, organs of the government, and leaders in such a way it helps the current modern age. The first political history was used by LEOPOLD VON RANKE  in Germany in the 19^th century.

      DIPLOMATIC HISTORY: diplomatic history deals with the history of international relations among states. It was first used by THUCYDIDES but later on, it was well developed by Leopold von Ranke. It deals with the method of taking decisions and behavior of foreign governments. diplomacy showed a great place in our history.

    CULTURAL HISTORY: this branch deals with the culture of ancient people, anthropology, traditions, and cultural interpretations of historical events. Culture includes all things like music, dance, language, and their way of worship.

     SOCIAL HISTORY: social history deals with the events take took place in ancient times. It looks upon the life experience of those events. Many of the scientists stated that it was the golden age because it sourced upon many nations' social behavioral issues. TILLY is the best living social historic man.

     ECONOMIC HISTORY: economic history is the study of economics in the academic side and the economic events in ancient times. It deals with balancing the country or kingdom with both the political and economic side. It mainly deals with different departments which makes the country mare stable in wealth.

     INTELLECTUAL HISTORY: intellectual history is also known as HISTORY OF IDEAS. It mainly deals with the study of human thought and thinkers. History itself is totally based on the people's intellectual powers because the human-only made history as the document and revealed all the things about the ancient people's culture, social, economic, tradition to the modern world. This branched played a major role in history.

HOW HISTORY IS IMPORTANT:

       Without evolution, man is not found. History is the main branch deals with the past culture and habitat oh ancient people. History only reveals the things that how ancient people were lived and sustained and how powerful their society is. Every citizen's duty is to know about their ancient generations who paved the way for a better life. The ancient people were healthy and intelligent than now. This shows the powerful life they owned.
